The deepwater drilling riser is a very important and vulnerable connection between an offshore platform subsea wellhead. Under some certain complex marine environment operating conditions, the may drift beyond safe limitations or be driven away rapidly. In order to protect safety of platform, personnel equipment, it necessary implement emergency disconnection riser. Since stretched under normal connection, will perform recoil response combined effect elastic potential energy fluid (mud) discharge frictional resistance after disconnection. There are mechanical mechanisms, influencing factors difficult control problems in process. Therefore, effectively controlling release has become one technical difficulties faced by drilling. mud tensioning force affecting response. It develop more general dynamic model for that considers actual conditions discharge, floating motion nonlinear tensioner factors. This paper introduces research progress on analysis technology riser, including model, top system method response, which provides reference future analyses design risers.
